There are two distinct camps, and I wouldn't say that all of the tax payers of Marin County are in favor of not exterminating the deer(in particular, folks who live in the micro-community of Pt Reyes). Many conservationists and naturalists are actually in favor of disposing of the axis and fallow deer.
