I have recently learned that Rice Dream is also not being manufactured with Good manufacturing practices. After having my 2 year old have a severe reaction to the product, discovered that there were tree nuts in the milk. People with nut allergies should be avoiding this product! Even though tree nuts is not declared on the label.

At another website, http://www.environmentalhealthnews.org/ehs/news/lead-in-vinegarm there is a list of red wine and basalmic vinegars that do not have warning labels re Prop65.
Does this mean that ones on this list are safe to consume?
Are these lead free? Does anyone know?

I am a totally believer of baking soda.! I have so many uses for it. I am 100% against animal cruelty and make me so sad and hard to believe that A&H test this product in animals since they advertise the product as natural and sensible for the enviroment. I will write to them and ask them to stop such a cruelty.!
I will try Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda. :-)

I just bought a hugh bag of A & H baking soda for non toxic cleaning. Then I found out it still test on animals. So I'm on my way back to Sams Club to return it and just placed an order with Bob's Red Mill. Although it does take some research to do non toxic cleaning and try to be cruelty free, but I feel its so worth it in the end. Thank you so much for this article.

I know we're on the topic of lead in red wine and balsamic vinegar; however, I need to change the topic of the subject (a bit)

My husband purchased a ripstick for our son. to my surprice, the ripstick contains a Proposition 65 Warning. He has been riding the ripstick (skate/snow board type handleless scooter) for about two weeks.

I happened to pick-up the box and noticed a Proposition 65 warning on the back of the box. The warning indicated that the product contains materials known to the State of California to cause cancer…..

I contacted Razor @ 866-467-2967 they denied that there are any harmful chemicals in the product. I was told that the warning was an “error” and has been removed from their product.

Can anyone confirm whether this warning is correct or not? What is hazardous about this product.

Dear Marie,
I am so sorry about what is happening in your family. Your son is absolutely endangering the health of his family by using this toxic herbicide. In addition to showing your son this article and all of the comments on it from people who have accidentally poisoned their pets, here is a good one:

http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_4574.cfm

I would suggest you search Google for further articles on Roundup's Toxicity. There are many, many articles on this subject.

I hope you can tell your son that this is one time he should rely on his mother's wisdom.

Please help me! My son is spraying Roundup on his property and he has 2 little children and 2 dogs. I have tried convincing him of the health dangers to his family and pets and he does not believe me. The children already have health issues, asthma, obesity, ADHD, irritable bowel syndroime, etc. and they are only 5 and seven years old. I am really scared and need a good article or report on the dangers of using Roundup to present to him. Thanks for your help. Marie Schrader, Gardnerville, NV
